Silhouette Sunset

Hi! This was was recent freebie over at Beccy's Place ..... couldn't resist it, as I love silhouette images (even if I don't create with them as often as I'd like to do)! I've had a pretty rotten week, and creating this card (with limited resources, as I wasn't at home with my craft stash) really gave me a boost that I needed (who are those people who say that craft isn't therapeutic!!!).

Anyway, I've created a very simple card, consisting of a white on white layer .... a white image layer on a white cardbase.  Can't get much more simple than that! I printed the image in brown, and after trimming it to size, I coloured it with pearlescent chalks, then fixed it to the cardbase with foam tape to lift it off the flat.

That's it. Simple. Told ya!

I'm sharing at Beccy's Place January challenge (30/1) and also at...
Crafty Bloggers Network #7 Flowers (30/1)
Craft Your Passion #145 Gone Country (20/1)
Daisy Doodles #75 Fresh and Simple (21/1)
Glitter And Sparkle #15 Use A Digi (20/1)

Thanks for peepin'!

You did a fantastic job with this card Pauline, I really like the background and it was a great idea to print the image in brown... it's a lot softer than black ink. I'm sorry to hear you've had a rotten week, but I definitely agree that crafting is therapeutic... wherever and whenever and with whatever you've got!!
