This week at Card Crafter's Circle, we've got Blue Skies! We have a LAYERS challenge for you! Our sponsor is one of my favourites, Stamp Art Design by Kathryne ... and I used the Little Bear - This is a Hug set ....
After printing the image layer, placing the text and heart, I then printed another couple of copies of the image, for trimming and layering to create a 3D bear. After colouring with alcohol markers, and trimming as needed, I used double-sided tape to fix the layers in some places, and foam tape to lift others... namely under his shoulders, the bottom of his belly, and his head. I stitched over the heart, with a basic stem stitch, and filled the background with chalks to co-ordinate with my chosen papers. The image layer is fixed to 3 paper layers with mini brads, and then mounted on a cream pearly card base.
