April Fool!

Funny Ha Ha!  I can remember all the April Fool's Day pranks we used to pull as kids... these days, sometimes the day has almost ended before I realise it is April 1st!  Is that a sign of age?

This week at the Glitter Geeks challenge, we challenge you to create something funny or humorous... since April 1st is on the rise!

Ingredients: White cardbase, Brown Core'dinations CS; Aqua Promarker; Marvy Markers; Glitter Pens; Glaze Pen; Brown Pearls; Gold Organza Ribbon; waterpen; sandpaper...

I created with a Dustin Pike image.... I thought this was a real hoot... especially since we love our water play, and who can resist the urge to squirt someone with a hose!  Since this week on the classic movie channel has been filled with Clint Eastwood movies, I couldn't help but play with a jibe at Dirty Harry for the sentiment (I added in MS Word before printing).

I coloured with markers, using an Aqua Promarker for the bear (with a  waterpen).  I used glitter pen for the birdie (aka "Harry") and bear's nose, and used glaze pen for the water.

Wanting the image to 'pop' like a cartoon, I left the background white, and used a simple brown, distressed matt layer. I wrapped the layers with a gold ribbon (on which I'd tied a scrap), and added pearls to finish...
