Posy for You

I have a gift to give someone, and the lastest challenge image from Designed2Delight Digital Stamps offered me the perfect image ... it's from the new Spring Kaela set.

Ingredients: Cardstock - DCWV, SU!; Markers - Marvy Le Plume; Aquash Pen; Pearls - Kaisercraft.

I printed the image twice, and fussy cut the flowers from one image.  I coloured those flowers with markers and and an Aquwash pen, for shades and depth. I chalked the background with varying shads of blue, coloured the green, edged it in antique gold ink, and mounted the coloured blooms with foam tape over the top.  The image was then matted, and mounted on the cardbase.  I added cream pearls to the flower centres, and chino pearls to the corners.

It's a simple card that I have created.  With all my family responsibilities at the moment, simple cards seem to be what I like doing the most.  They must clear my brain fogs, because I always find them refreshing.

Thanks for peepin'!
