Surf's up, Dude!

Here's another cute little fellow for you, from the ranks of StretchNBubbles! This wee one is named Surf's Up Boy from the Lil' Imp family.... I picked this image to work with because it's Australia Day tomorrow... on go the patriotic hats, and we love everything beach and barbeque, even only if it is for one day! (I'm not a beach person myself, but I love a good barbeque!)

Ingredients: Cardstock - SU!, Cre8tiv, DCWV; Markers - Aqua Promarkers, Marvy Le Plume, Stardust and Glaze Pens - Sakura; Chocolate Pearls, Rub-ons - Kaisercraft; Ribbon - Dotty Craft, Metal Tag.

I coloured the little surfer dude with markers, Stardust and Glaze pens. (I printed and coloured a second image of his hair and sunnies, using a promarker to colour his hair, and glaze pen for his sunnies).  I created the middle layer by wrapping ribbon on a DCWV glitter cardstock, matting it on brown, and adding the metal tag with a ribbon tie.

I created a border strip from brown and green cardstock.... until it came to assemble the card, and I decided to cut it into a surfboard, and added some rub-ons down the centre. After fixing the surboard and the lil surfer dude to the green, I fixed it to the cardbase, and added some wee choclate pearls in the corners.....
