Bear' Big Gift

Okay.... I had a little help with this card..... my nephew wanted a card for his mate, and this latest challenge image from Designed 2 Delight Digital Stamps really appealed to him....must have been the boots, because he's not a teddy kind of kid!  So in that spirit, my nephew decided what paper I was to use, and what he wanted the card to look like - I had already coloured and assembled the image - but he wasn't going to make the card, oh no.... I had to make it, under his instruction!

Nephew picked the paper, and told me to make the boots look muddy.... I grunged up the pressie a bit too.... so not my colour scheme, and heaven forbid if I put FLOWERS on a boy's card, but still made by my hand....

Ingredients: Cardstock - Kaisercraft, SU!; Paper - Cre8tiv; Chalks - Pebbles Inc.; Markers - Marvy Le Plume; Stardust, Glaze Pens - Sakura; Brads - Craft Affair.

Ted was chalked, his boots were coloured with markers, then stardust pens, and a layer of brown marker smeared over to muddy them.  The pressie was colored with red marker, the ribbon with stardust and glaze pen. Simple layers of paper fixed with brads. And I wasn't even allowed to put a sentiment on the front! Sheesh!  Thanks for peepin'!

This is gorgeous Pauline! Your Nephew did a wonderful job picking the colours and you put it together beautifully. Love the blue ribbon!
Thanks for joining us at D2D this week.
