Summer Colour Challenge - For Fun!

This week at For Fun, we have a Summer Colour Challenge .... so let your creations ring with the colours of Summer!  Especially great, since here in Australia we're in the middle of a wet winter.  We have some awesome creations on show by the Design Team and also have a sponsor  -  The Stamping Boutique -  and they have generously offered our challenge winner 2 TSB images.   Here is my creation:

Ingredients: Digi Image "Hidden" - The Stamping Boutique; Cardstock, Flower Buckle, Mini Brads - Craft Affair; Ice Blue Rhinestones, Papers - Kaisercraft; Markers - Bic; Glaze Pens, Stardust Glitter Pens - Sakura; Sentiment Sticker.

I cheated a little - I coloured the image background on the computer before printing (knowing I'd never get a streak free finish by hand!) I coloured the fairy with a flesh tone marker and Stardust pens, and the rest of the image with layers of glaze pens and stardust pens as well... so the flowers are slightly dimensional, and look wet, and there's lots of subtle sparkle.  I added rhinestones to the twinkles in the back ground, and used basic paper layering for the card.  I added some strips of paper to act as 'ribbon', threaded a buckle brad onto the thin strip, and finished off with a birthday sentiment sticker.

I hope you'll come join us in the challenge at For Fun this week!  Thanks for peeping!

hugs and blessings,
Pauline
