I trimmed a piece of distressed grey card to fit the white cardbase leaving a thin white edge, and then took a wide white lace and fixed it over the grey. With that layer fixed flat to the base, I added my tag.
I wasn't sure the black and white palette would be too stark for the vintage theme, but the greenish tinge to the blackboard tag renders it 'not a true' black, and the grey layer softens it too, I think....

Pauline, this is absolutely stunning. I think this has been one of my favorite challenges in a while, and your card is spot on for vintage beauty. Lovely, girl!
This is gorgeous! I really love the softness of the lace and image, combined with the black, white, gray pallet.
Polly, this is just plain gorgeous! Love the way you've added the pearls to the hat and around the frame. The lace is such a delicate touch!
The lace and frame are amazing for this beautiful image on vellum . The grey layer does soften look quite well and that BOW is to die for ..
Hugs Shirley-Anne
