Friendship at #21

Before I share my creation for this week's challenge at the Twist of Faith... I want to say that I am particularly grateful and thankful for my design teamie friends here at Twist of Faith (and Card Crafter's Circle). They are so much fun to work with (it's hardly work, it's too much fun!) and they are are so supportive and encouraging... and they always have my blog-back when I'm called away elsewhere.  They are awesome friends! (If ever I win the lottery, there's a world tour on the cards for me!)

So this week, our challenge is all about FRIENDSHIP!  We have a wonderful sponsor joining us... Milk Coffee Stamps! The challenge prize winner will have their choice of 5 images as their prize!

I coloured the background with pearly chalks, the image with SU! markers, then highlighted with glitter pens. I layered the trimmed the image onto tiny spotted - distressed paper, a co-ordinating floral, and on the tiny spotty paper again.  The paper is from a  Prima 6x6 (thank you magazine freebies!). When all was fixed together, I gussied up a faux bow - I've a loop of ribbon, fixed onto the ribbon strip, then wrapped in same to create the bow centre (keeps it nice and flat!). I then fixed it to a white cardbase.  The sentiment is courtesy of
Ginger's House (fabulous freebies... awesome!).  I added vintage burgundy pearls to the corners.

I loved Milk Coffee images, because the little girls remind me of my precious nieces (well, my cousin's  5 daughters) and they live so far away ...

I apologise AGAIN for being late with my post... I was so happy that I had my creation completed before the challenge went live, got caught up in my daughter's needs, and voila... I was elsewhere!  Ooops. Do come see the fabulous cards our design team has created to inspire you, and I hope you'll join us at the Twist of Faith in the challenge this week!  Thanks for peepin'!

1 cared to share!:

You're such a wonderful friend Polly! I love your sweet card with the precious little girls. Reminds me of my daughters when they're getting along.
Have a great day! Hugs
