2013 Gratitude Journal - week 4

Woohoo! A creation completed before the eleventh hour!  What a feeling of elation when this happens...

In my new 8x8 scrapbook album I add my creation of gratitude for the 4th challenge.

In creating my fourth page to my gratitude journal, I used a digi text I made, using the week's scripture, Psalm 28:7, and have used another fabulous vintage era image from Create with TLC.
Having a little more of my craft stash with me this weekend, I had some wonderful distressed papers in vintage patterns, that I had to use.  I matted the image with Vintage Core-dinations card.

I've used again, a square image layer, colouring the image with chalks and markers, and using chalks for the background.  I tried to keep the image in similar colours to the paper, well, at least not too contrasting! After fixing the image layer down, I added some wee cream brads.  Before fixing it to the page, I added two strips of satin olive ribbon across the page, to link the papers together... and they remind me a little of wallpapers!

As well as linking this into the hosted challenge at Inspired Stamps (thank you Antoinette!) I am also linking this up at Word Art Wednesday #64.....thanks for peepin'!
