Feeling Sentimental...

My second late post -  well, it was set at draft - talk about feeling embarrassed... and on my own challenge blog!  If you haven't already seen, our challenge for you at Card Crafter's Circle this week is to create a card using a sentiment... and our super sponsor... KPM DOODLES is giving our randomly drawn winner their choice of TWO SETS of images from the KPM DOODLES collection... what an awesome prize!

I created with an image from the Fun Frames set.... and what a fabulous set it is! My sentiment is courtesy of Create with TLC...

Using a square metallic orange cardbase, I've printed the frame image on white, and large enough to fill the layer (to be the FRAME for the sentiment). I coloured with glitter pens,  then filled the frame and the background by dusting pearlescent chalks... then I set to stitching.  I stitched the accents around the suns, and some lines around the frame itself, in a simple stem stitch.  The stitching is olive green, and is quite apparent on the card itself, but not so in the picture here!  I finished the corners with wee chocolate pearls, and one one to the flower centre...
I do hope that you've got time to join in our SENTIMENTS challenge this week at Card Crafter's Circle...  Thanks for peepin'!
