This week at
Card Crafter's Circle , we have a MONOCHROMATIC challenge.... we want to see creations in one colour. Our sponsor is Stamp-N-Doodle who provided the team with a gorgeous image, Prom Queen!
My chosen colour was yellow...on a yellow pearl cardbase, I used two layers of yellow rose paper. The top layer of rose paper has been torn diagonally, and the edges chalked (in yellow of course!). That torn layer was also edged in rhinestones, and between the chalked edges lies a sentiment.
The image was printed on white cardstock, her hair and skin coloured with markers, and uses glitter pens for the hair ribbon, dress and wrist corsage. I also added extra dazzle with a clear glitter pen, over the darker pattern in her skirt... although it shows to look just a little dimensional here, the actual image skirt looks very dimensional, just like crushed taffeta!
After fussy cutting the image, I edged it in grey ink for definition, and attached it in place with foam tape.
I hope you'll come join our Monochromatic Colour Challenge at the Card Crafter's Circle! Thanks for peepin'!

Thank you very much, Sandra xx
Hi Pauline,
This dress really shimmers and has a beautiful 3d effect to her dress to create such an elegant and stylish card. I can nearly hear her dress swish! Fabulous technique with your colouring in!!!!
Hugs Trish xx
