I'd call this creation a 'minimalist' card, because there are no fancy layers. I used an embossed die-cut cardbase (thank you PortaCraft) and the image is printed on a white card insert, inside the card, viewable through the die-cut porthole.
I coloured the image with chalks, and glitter pens (on the birdie and the green leaves). I then stitched purple thread around the larger flowers, and did a simple stem stitch around the porthole. The embossing on the front is lightly dusted with green chalk... just to lift the embossing a little.
