I'm in Stitches!

This week at the Card Crafter's Circle, we'll have you in stitches! Seriously, our challenge for you is to create using STITCHING or FAUX  STITCHING.... our sponsor is Limited Runs ... and we had fun creating with their images!  I used the Morning Glory Circle image (tee hee.... is anyone a Bewitched fan? Samantha and Darren live on Morning Glory Circle!)

I'd call this creation a 'minimalist' card, because there are no fancy layers.   I used an embossed die-cut cardbase (thank you PortaCraft) and the image is printed on a white card insert, inside the card, viewable through the die-cut porthole.

I coloured the image with chalks, and glitter pens (on the birdie and the green leaves).  I then stitched purple thread around the larger flowers, and did a simple stem stitch around the porthole. The embossing on the front is lightly dusted with green chalk... just to lift the embossing a little.

I hope you'll swing past the Card Crafter's Circle, and visit with our design team.... we would love to have you share your stitched creations with us!

Thanks for peepin'!
