We are playing a new challenge at Card Crafter's Circle ! We have a game for ytoue this week, to help you choose your embellishments for your creations. we are playing Tic Tac Toe! And we have Whoopsie Daisy as our sponsor, and they are providing our challenge winner with their choice of 2 sheets of Whoopsie Daisy images... which is 8 images! Fabulous!
Ingredients: DCWV Cardbase; Glitter Pens; Copic marker; Promarker Aqua; Blue Grosgrain Ribbon...
I created a card/tag/bookmark here... for a wee lad who enjoys books, and skateboarding...
Using a pre-printed DCWV cardbase, I cut it in half, leaving a tall, narrow card. I measured the portions I would cut away to create the tag shape, and cut it away. The front of the original card is dotty, while the back is a blue linen finish.... which I liked... so I saved a blue portion, fixed it to the new cardbase, and trimmed it to fit. I then used my punch to add a hole at the top frontside, to add a blue ribbon....
I printed the image, and coloured it with glitter pens mostly, hoping that these colours were still boy-ish enough for his approval! I was going to add black rhinestones at the wheel of the scooter, but chose against it, as they would damage pages should he use it as a book mark. Instead, I added some faux stitching with blue glitter pen, and then added a sentiment.
