A Bounty of Buttons...

Or is it a bevy of buttons.... whatever you call it, it will be a fun challenge  for you .... especially if you love buttons as much as I do!

This week our challenge at the Michelle Perkett Studio is:  Cute as a Button!

We want you to use buttons anywhere on your creation and a Michelle Perkett Studio image.  The winner of the challenge will receive an image of their choice from Michelle's Etsy shop!

My creation here uses the "Best Friends" image (I so love this one!)  ....

Ingredients: Cardstock - Terra Nova, PortaCraft; Papers - Kaisercraft, PortaCraft; Markers - Marvy Le Plume; Stardust Pens - Sakura; Adhesive Pearls - Kaisercraft; Buttons - my own mixed stash...

I coloured and matted the image to stabilise it before sewing on each button.  What can I say, I love stitching, and I love buttons!  I used pearly bow beads in two corners, odd flower buttons in the other corners, and since I didn't like the large button left until last, I added a small one on top! Architects would call it an intended design feature ... I them added a layer of patterned paper, another layer of card, and a layer of goreously embossed paper, before fixing it all to a golden yellow cardbase. Oops... pearls were added for the ladies' earrings!

Now let's see your buttoned MPS creations! Remember, you must use an MPS image.... you can find them at the etsy shop, or freebies at the PaperCraftPlanet group and even a new freebie at the MPS blog! The challenge is open until Monday July 18 at 5pm (USA California time).  Do check out the inspiration at the MPS Blog  too... it's awesome!

Thanks for peepin'!
