MPS Easter Bunny Blog Hop

I am dreadfully sorry to all that have visited my stop on the hop here, as I have nothing created for you.  I was called off to a medical emergency on Friday, and haven't been home. I feel quite awful, as my post appeared with no creation for you.... but it is here now.... so I  hope you'll forgive me, and enjoy the hop ..... I must start it myself now! (edit added here Sunday 17th AU time)

The Easter Bunny Blog Hop is finally here!  We've got lots of new faces joining us this time and it's great to welcome you all to an MPS hop! I hope there are lots of new faces in our visitors too!  Welcome everyone!

We've been seeing some fantastic MPS images, as well as some new Easter themed images along the trail... I hope you've enjoyed yourselves, and there are a few more hop stops after me too!

I hope we are all in the mood to celebrate Easter. It's a special time of year whatever we are celebrating - Easter, Pesach, Passover, Spring....

Here is my Easter creation for you, using the MPS Easter Basket Set:

Other Ingredients: White Cardstock; Stardust Pens - Sakura; Pink Matt Gel Pen - Signo; Sienna  Aqua/ Promarker; Rhinestones - Kaisercraft.

I created an Easter Egg Basket/holder.  The basket is coloured with an aqua Promarker, for a watery aged look, and the eggs are all coloured with Stardust pens.  The pink bow is coloured with a matt gel pen. I adde a couple of rhinestones to swirls on the ribbon ends. The eggs are individually cut, and placed in a slot cut into the basket image.

The entire image is attached to a small white frosted glass dish, just large enough to hold an Easter Egg. To display the chocolate egg behind the image, the egg holder is sitting on top of a glass candle base, for added height. When the egg is presented, it won't be visible from the front at all.
