Personally, although I love watching fashion makeover shows (trinny and Susannah, Gok... Oh, I just love Gok!) I'm still a firm believer that you make your own fashion, and you should dress to please yourself (that being said, I'm rather a modest dresser, and will dress to suit the occasion). Anyway, that short time came back to me over the weekend, and I took it as a personal challenge... to create something pink and red. So I did. And here it is.
On antiqued gold findings, I beaded a triple strand necklace of glass beads in pinks and reds. The reds won out as the major, as I generally would wear red or black (I am not pink chick). It has a good weight to it, with a lot of movement. So even if only proving it to myself, pink and red DO go together, and I would be HAPPY to where this creation. In fact, I might wear it next Friday, when I go have my coffee... and carry a big bunch of pink and red flowers....
Anyway, I'm entering this creation in the Easy Craft Projects (ECP) Challenge this week ... the theme is #34 For Mum (and my Mum would like this necklace too).
I'm also linking this in the Link Party at Passionately Artistic...
