OWH Bunny Hop!

Welcome to my little hop stop on the Operation Write Home Bunny Blog Hop! If you arrived here from Amy's blog  - This Busy Girl, you're hopping in the right direction!  If you popped in from another rabbit-hole, and want to start from the beginning, which is a very good place to start, hop back here to OWH Stars and Stamps blog.

Instead of creating a card as my original intention, I decided to create a hanging ornament instead - from top to bottom it measures 21 centimetres (not including the hanging ribbon). It uses the Happy Easter Bunny image from the Michelle Perkett Studio....

Ingredients: Heart WireForm; Green Satin Ribbon; Glitter Gel Pens; Aquash WaterPen; Markers - Marvy Le Plume; Assorted brads; Rhinestones, Pearl - Kaisercraft; Fabric Flowers;Vintage Velvet Flower

I left the rabbit uncoloured - I wanted her white!  I coloured the flowers and dress with markers, then added glitter pen with a water brush to intensify the colours.  I added rhinestones and a pearl to the flowers in her hair, and her shoes.  I fussy cut her from the image background.  She sat aside, while I wrapped the heart with ribbon, and added a hanging ribbon.  I fixed assorted flowers with brands and secured them to the heart.  I fixed fine silver wire to the bunny, and secured to the heart, hiding the wire amidst the flowers, so she appears to be dancing through the flowers.

I decided to offer a spring themed Blog Candy for the Bunny Hop participants who leave me a comment...
White threaded Flowers and Pearls
2  vintage velvet flowers bunches (pale pink, pale blue)
2  Tim Coffey Grand Adhesion stickers

3 lengths of satin ribbon

... all you need to do is leave a comment on this post, letting me know where you are visiting from! Do leave your email address so that I can contact you if Random.Org chooses you as my winner! Do say where you are visiting from - I love to visit my visitors.... it's like travelling from my lounge room!

If you are creating cards for Operation Write Home, remember these deadlines for getting your cards in to OWH! The Easter deadline is March 18th and Mother's Day deadline is March 31st...

As part of our blog hop 'duties', we need to provide a link to something we find interesting at the OWH website .... well, I couldn't decide what to link, there are too many interesting things there!  If you click here, you will visit the OWH blog, where you will find challenges, sketches, tutorials, blogs, all sorts of inspiration too! Oh and there are freebie digi images there for you to use on your OWH cards! You will also find a link to OWH.org for all the information you need to participate as a cardmaker for the OWH program..... visit the mailroom and watch the video - WOW what a job!

Your next stop on the hop is with Sheila at 2 Paw Prints ... and I am sure it will be a great stop ... I wonder what treat awaits you there! Thanks for peepin', and for leaving a comment on my blog.  I'm glad you visited, and hope you enjoy the rest of the hop!
