Here is my creation - WINTER! I chose winter not because I love snow, and rarely get to see it, but because here in Australia (currently dancing with cyclones, bushfire, floods and the remnants of locust plagues!) we will definitely see winter in June, before our spring in September!
Ingredients used: Cardstock - Rosies, DCWV; Chalks - Pebbles Inc; Aqua Promarker; Stardust Pens, White Glaze Pen - Sakura; Metallic Chalk Ink - Colorbox; Rhinestones - Kaisercraft; Irridescent Glitter Glue - Papermania; Brads - Craft Affair; Goggle eyes; Crushed Velvet ribbon.
I coloured the image with chalks (background and dirt), water brushed promarker (groundhog), stardust pens (clothes), and white glaze pen (snow). When the snow was dry, I also added irridescent glitter glue as well... I used Silver and Ice Blue bling for falling snowflakes, and I couldn't help but put goggle eyes on the little fella.... I edged the card matts with silver chalk ink, before layering them together and securing with brads. I added tabs of crushed velvet ribbon, and left space for sentiments.
So do enter our challenge at For Fun, for the chance to win a great prize, and it would be super if you would use the free images created just for the challenge! Thanks for peepin'!
2 cared to share!:
Fantastic card - love the google eyes and bling for snowflakes. I also need to remember that technique you used for the ribbon - I have so many scraps!
Phil did not see his shadow today so supposedly spring is on it's way. I'll believe it when I see it!
The little groundhog is so cute!
