Okay, so we don't see snow at Christmas in Australia. And the photo in my card isn't even Australian, so I doubt they are our beautiful white Ghost Gum Trees. But they are trees, nonetheless, and they remind me of ghost gums. Trees is the theme for the challenge at Crafty Hazelnut's Christmas Challenge this week.
I trimmed the image and matted it on navy. I created a middle matt using white and navy CS, and wrapped it with two pieces of the ribbon. I added an organza lace/ribbon flower with a brad through the photo layer, then fixed it to the middle matt. Adhered it to the cardbase, and then set to add irridescent glitter glue to the trees, in the creek, and highlighted some snow too.
Thanks for peepin'!

What a great card love the colour.xxx
WOW! Stunning image! Loving it!
Fab snowy scene (like to see it on cards, but not irl). Thank you for joining in my CHNC challenge 3 - hope to see you again soon. x
It's a gorgeous scene! The blue shading with the snow is fabulous.
I don't think I've ever seen a Ghost Gum. I kept wondering what you were calling the birch trees - I was confused at first.
This is such a cool card (no pun intended). Not sure if the trees are white burch or just snow covered ... non the less ... very nice. The ribbon behind the image and adding the flower give it just the right touch! Bravo!
Your card is beautiful! Lovely winter night's scene.
Lovely card and those trees are gorgeous - probably Silver Birch, quite common here in Scotland - though I'd quite like to see some Ghost Gums here too :) Your flower is fab. Regards, Elizabeth
