MPS Sketch Challenge

This week's challenge at MPS is to create something using a Michelle Perkett image and our sketch!

If you don’t have any of Michelle’s images there are wonderful images in Michelle’s Etsy store and also over at the Crafters Digital Art Center group

Our challenge is sponsored by Michelle Perkett Studio Etsy store, the winner will be awarded one digital image of their choice from Michelle's Etsy store!

I created my card using the Sleepytime Angel image....

Ingredients: cardstock - DCWV, Bazzill; Markers - Marvy Le Plume; Stardust Pens - Sakura; Matt Pink Pen - Signo; Chalks - Pebbles Inc; Glitter Glues - Papermania; Rhinestones - Kaisercraft; Paper Flowers, Organza  Ribbon.

I coloured the image with chalks (background), markers, and pens.  The moon uses stardust pens, so it is all glittery.  I also added irridescent glitter glue to fairy's wings and dress.  After matting the image, I added a rhinestone trim, then set to ribbons! I tried a few times to get the knots even and in the same positions for each - since they are not, I am citing my right as using artistic license! I didn't want to be too fussy with the card, as the background is so lovely on the DCWV card, so I just added some flower blossoms, and dabbed them with glitter.  I wish all the sparkles showed here!

I  hope you'll follow me to see the inspiration at the MPS blog, then get creative and share with us!  Thanks for peepin'!
