Once Upon a Time, in a magical kingdom Far Far Away... gotta love Fairy Tales! This week at the Michelle Perkett Studio we have a Once Upon A Time challenge! We challenge you to make a card or project using MPS fairy or fantasy images!
If you don’t have any of Michelle’s images there are wonderful images in Michelle’s Etsy store and you never know what you might find at the Crafters Digital Art Center group!
I created with a delightful Alice image....
Other Ingredients: Cardstock - Rosies; Markers - Penline; Stardust and Glaze Pens; Sakura; Vintage Fabric - Moda; Lace; Organza Lace Flower; Vintage Pink Satin Flower; Adhesive Pearls - Kaisercraft.
I coloured the image with a variety of Glaze and Stardust pens, so it shimmers and glitters. I mounted the image, and gave it a border of white lace. I deconstructed multilayer organza 'lace' flowers to use only one layer, and fixed it in place behind a pink satin flower. After adhering the vintage fabric to the cardbase, I added the topper, and dropped wee white pearls to the empty white corners...
Our challenge winner will be awarded one digital image of their choice from Michelle's Etsy store. Again, our Design Team Mermaids have a wonderful selection of images conjuring inspiration ... we have Enchanted Love, Lily (a beautiful Butterfly Fairy), Alice in Wonderland, and Goldilocks! Go See! Go See! Do stop by the MPS blog and join in our challenge fun.... we love to see your creativity! Thanks for peepin!
