The theme for this week's challenge at the Michelle Perkett Studio blog is Let It Snow..... so we're asked to use snow in our creation!
I chose to use the MPS image of Snow Goddess..... I think she is stunning!
Ingredients: Cardstock - Rosies; Holly Paper - magazine freebie; Pearl Chalks - Pebbles Inc; Glaze Pens, Stardust Pens - Sakura; Metallic Pen - Signo; Red Pearls - Kaisercraft; Antique Gold Ink - Colorbox; Glitter Glue - Papermania.
I printed and cropped the image to my required size, and coloured her skin, dress, and the background with chalks. I then coloured the rest of the image with Stardust Pens, using a White Glaze pen for her collar and handwarmer. I used metalic copper pen for her eyeshadow. The image was then edged with Antique Gold Ink. I matted the image with the holly paper, and fixed it to the cardbase. I then added irridescent glitter glue to the collar and handwarmer, and to the gold ribbons. I then set about adding red pearls to replace the holly berries .... quite a few of them!
So, to play along with our challenge this week, you just need to use an MPS image that has snow in it. The whole treasure trove of images is available for purchase from Michelle's etsy store, but, there are many freebies lurking in the depths at CDAC, and the Paper Craft Planet group. The winner of this challenge will receive an image of their own choice from Michelle's etsy store... we look forward to seeing your Snowy creations!
