Born To Be Wild

I'm a collector of  painted horses "The Trail of the Painted Pony" statues, and also of painted cows (I'm a cow afficianado).  Anyway, today I decided to have a play with some photos, and scrapbooked pictures of a decorated cow..... this cow stands outside an historic building at Koroit, in Victoria.  Koroit is is dairy country, south of my hometown, and is in the area where the Irish first settled in my state. (My family comes from this district, many generations ago, before we spread out!)  Anyway, Koroit is well known for it's potatoes.... it has the best potatoes around..... the soil is so rich because of it's volcanic nature....

The challenge at Scrap It With A Song was to be inspired by Steppenwolf's "Born To Be Wild" .... and I'm sure that the cow here fits the description!

Ingredients: have gotten the best of me! Sadly I don't recall the company name for the paper or paper pinted cutouts; greay cardstock, Buttons, embroidery threads, Rub-On lettering.

I didn't think this page need a great deal done to it, since the pattern is so WILD and crazy!  I thought it complimented the cow perfectly.

In another dairy area of my state, there is a whole plethora (54 I think!) of artist painted cows.... and they can be seen grazing all over...called the Mooving Exhibition..... ain't it great! Here's a link if you're interested in seeing some of the Mooving Cows!

Fabulous layout to showcase the painted cow! These are so cool to see and we have painted moose in similar fashion to your cows in the larger urban centres in Ontario. Thanks so much for entering my blog candy and good luck, Maria
