Elegant Ladies

This week at Ooh La La Creations  the challenge is to create on the theme "Elegant Ladies"...  I love the elegance and opulence of vintage and victorian images, but this week I chose to use a digi image from SNB's Zen Collection, Mayling.  I've always thought of traditional Japanese ladies (not necessarily Geisha) as very elegant... as well as the simplistic Zen designs of life... very calming.   So here 'tis!

Ingredients used: Digi image - SNB; Cardstock - Craft Affair, DCWV; Markers - Bic; Stardust Pens - Sakura; Rub Ons, Rhinestones - Kaisercraft.

I wanted to keep the card relatively clean and simple, to compliment the image and the elegant atmoshere I was trying to create.  I coloured and trimmed the digi image, and measured the glitter cardstock layers according to the image dimensions.  I adhered the first layer to the basecard, and added the rub on images.  I then added the next two layers, and the image.  I added pink rhinestones to the flowers in Mayling's hair and kimono.  THanks for peeping!
