Have a mice day!

I just love the image that was provded for us participating in the Designed 2 Delight Digital Stamps challenge this week!  No - I love every image provided for us in the challenge!  See here....

Ingredients used: Cardstock - Kaisercraft, Craft Affair, DCWV; Markers - Bic; Chalks - Pebbles Inc.; Glaze Pens - Sakura.

I printed the image twice (I printed one a little larger than the other), colouring them both with markers. I trimmed one as a base, and cut out the flower head, leave and grass/mouse of the other, adding glaze pens to the flower centre, and grass. The cut out items were adhered with DS tape and foam tape - the flower centre was stuck flat, and I folded the petals up to add dimension.  The leaf was stuck with DS tape at one end, and foam tape at the outer end.  When it came to the grass, I used DS tape at the ends, and foam tape under the mouse to make him pop.  By printing the cut out images a wee larger than the base image, it gives a little more shadow.  and leeway when adhering with foam and tape, as I did with the grass.  After choosing my papers, I trimmed to suit the image, and affixed all to the card.  I finally chalked the back ground of the image, with colours to tone in with the cardstock.

"Have a Mice Day!" was the sentiment wth the image, but I didn't use it... bright flowers are enough to make anyone smile!

hugs and blessings,
Pauline

Very pretty, the chalking of the background really adds a lot. I think it will definitely make someone smile. Thanks for playing with us at Delightful Inspiration this week.
