Guest Host at Digital 2 for Tuesday!

What an honour it is to be guest host for Cora at the Digital 2 for Tuesday blog again! In case you haven't visted there, each Tuesday, you will find some delightful vintage images free... and what a collection Cora has painstakingly prepared for us! Here are my creations for this week, using the most beautiful images!

Ingredients: Digital image; Cardstock - SU!; Papers,Flower, Pearls - Kaisercraft; Chalks (matte, pearl) - Pebbles Inc; Glaze Pens, Stardust Pens - Sakura; Gem Brad - Craft Affair; Sticker - Creative Memories; Beaded Ribbon.

The image has been coloured with chalks, and accented using Glaze and Stardust Pens (on the hat, and dress trim, and at the neck and waist). After I found the patterened paper, I thought that it seemed like wallpaper... I imagined her emerging from a very ornately decorated room, of velvet curtains, beads and lots of things that make you go "Aaaah".  So I didn't mind that the beads hung low over her face...  

Ingredients: Cardbase - unknown; Glitter paper - DCWV, Chalks (matte, pearl) - Pebbles Inc;  Glaze Pens, Stardust Pens - Sakura; Pearls, Rhinestone - Kaisercraft; Vintage flower pieces, beaded stamens.

For this image, I imagined her to be gazing at her reflection in the water.... so I coloured the background as if she was standing on the water's edge.  I accented the pattern of her dress with glaze pens, to add dimension and make it pop - and continued to use the glaze at her waist and bodice, hat, and the grass and flowers.  I put together a velvet and organza flower with beaded stamens, to co0irdinate with her dress, and added a pearl to the parasol handle, and a rhinestone at her neck.
