Oriental Princess

Here is a card that I am entering into the Trip to the Orient challenge  over at Creatalicious Challenges...
Ingredients used: Vintage Bookplate Image ( photo printed, circa early 1900s), Core'dinations Retro CS, Vintage fabric square, Champagne Rhinestones, Chino Pearls, Paper Blossoms.

I created a cardbase and photo mat from the textured CS (I just love it!), and trimmed the layers to create appropriate borders. I added rhinestones to the image, and blossoms, also adding in rhinstones and pearls as flower centres.   As the theme of the challenge was oriental, I wanted to keep the card as simple as I could .... following the philosophy that less/few creates more impact, while also keeping 'peace'.  I think I achieved it ... or at least the girl in the image seems to  .... wonder if this is an oriental 'Frog Prince' story... thanks for looking!

hugs and blessings,
Pauline
