For Fun Challenge - Masking Technique

This week at For Fun Challenges the challenge is to create a stamped card using the masking technique.  I quite enjoyed it .... I've gotten so caught up in digi stamps, I don't remember the last time I used a rubber stamp! Of course I got inky fingers! Here is my masked card:

Ingredients used: Rubber Stamps (from Magnolia, &  Lucy's), Cardstock (yellow matte, blue metallic), Twingling H20s, Stardust Pens (orange, yellow, pink), buttons, foam tape, glue dots.

I started off by stamping the daisies (Lucy's Stamps), and masked them while I stamped in Tilda.  She is the one wading in water, you can see her holding her skirt!).  I coloured Tilda, the area between the daisies, and the sky with H20s, and mounted it on yellow CS. I stamped a second image of daisies, and cut them out.  I coloured them with stardust pens, and created some depth by mounting some with foam tape, some with glue dots, and leaving a couple 'naked'.  Then on went the glue dots and buttons! And finished off with a couple of buttons in the top corners, before mounting on a metallic blue cardbase.

Do go check out the For Fun Challenge blog for more information on this week's challenge... we'd love to have you play along!

hugs & blessings,
Pauline
