Sneak Peak! Doodle Palace Bears and Bunnies!

This week, The Doodle Palace is releasing two cuties... the Lovey Dovey Bears, and Chester Bunny!

Lovey Dovey Bears: I have used a cream cardbase. Around a Bazzill CS matted vintage quilt square, I have secured pieces of apricot lace, and scallop edged dusky pink organza ribbon.  Around the organza I have secured red paper rose (don't tell anyone it came beside my coffee at McDonalds on Valentines Day!)  I added ice blue crystal brads onto the corners, and adhered the 'topper' to the cardbase.  I have coloured the beary cure image with Sakura Stardust pens, using Glaze pens for the hat collar and shoes.

Here is Chester Bunny!  Again using a cream cardbase, I have added layers of Bazzill and DCWV cardstock. After colouring the Chester Bunny image with H20s and Stardust pens, I matted it, and adhered it to the card.  I also added in small strips of glittered cardstock trimmed from a page with multi pattern borders, and added pearls as well. When trimming the coloured image, I cut part way on the right, then trimmed around the bird, so he would stick out more, and reducing the 'white' space on the right... I kinda off balanced the image a little, but off balance adds more interest in my world.... and hides some imperfections ...
