New Doodle Palace Releases!

Well, okay, they were released last week... Wednesday.... I messed up my scheduled blog post, and it would have been released on March 2 instead of Feb 3...I'm just not used to using the US date format! Anyhoo, here are are my creations from last week's releases!

The first sweetie is called "I Toadally Love You".  I love the play on words!
I've used Bazzill CS, and from DCWV - the Green Stack.  Toadie is coloured with markers, and his spots and sunflower with Stardust pens.  I added the fabric flower for more 'oomph', and some wee bee brads buzzing around, leaving dashed pen strokes behind them....

The next creation is...."I Ruff You". This has two images, the poochie with and with text on the heart.

I have used Bazzill CS, and a glitter CS from DCWV.  Poochie is coloured iwth H2Os, and the heart with Stardust pens.  I've added ribbon-threaded lace, a layered silk flower, and a rub-on sentiment.

I just LOVE his sad eyes...

The next creation is a two piece set - the "Sunflowers" set has a sunflower in a pot, and a jug of sunflowers. Love them!

For the Sunflower Pot, I have used Bazzill CS, with black papers from a magazine freebie.  I have coloured the image with Stqardust pens, and blended orange and yellows on the petals. To colour the pot, I used a glaze pen, which gives a glassy raised finish.  I washed it with a water pen, hoping for worn, terracotta look.

To finish, I stitched in some beads in the sunflower centre and added brads ...
The Sunflowers in the Vase uses SU cardstock, and double sided paper from K & Co. (I used both sides!). The flowers are coloured with stardust pens, and the jug with a glaze pen. this time, I dotted the centre of the flowers with a brown glaze pen for the seeds.

I also added a piece of vintage ribbon ... and again finished off with some wee brads.

2 cared to share!:
