Raggedy Flake... an SNB Release

My first official creation as part of the Stretch N Bubbles Design Team family! Yay!  This digital beauty is named Raggedy Flake. Quite the cutie!

I have printed her much larger than I normally would use, so this card is actually an A5 size (A4 folded in half).  What's the reflection in the card?  I made the card from acetate sheet, and attached the coloured image on the front.  The double-mounted snowflake paper you see is attached to the inside of the back of the acetate card (make sense?) The snowflake paper is from a vintage magazine set, mounted on gold, then on SU cardstock.   I added Kaiser bling on the acetate front to appear as snowflake centres.  Because the acetate bends and doesn't sit flat, it gives depth, creating the illusion that Raggedy Flake is standing in front of the snowflakes.

Colouring - I coloured the image with markers, adding glitter swirls to her wings, and adding glitter for the shirt spots, the snowflake on her dress, and the dress hem.  Her dress, wings and face were coloured with H20s.

There are a few sneaky tricks here  - the snowflake/gold paper are adhered as a page in a book - so that a message may be written in the card.  And... I have not adhered the left hand side of the cardstock, so it becomes a hidden pocket with the rear acetate, for perhaps a monetary gift, or a voucher etc.

Hi Pauline, just found your comment on my blog and would like to say thanks and also welcome to my happy band too.I've joined yours as well as I love your different take on working with digi stamps. They're quite new to me so it's great to see what other crafters do with them.
Hope it's warmer where you are as we have -6 windchill in Sussex at the moment!
Hugs, Fliss x
PS: Love this card too!
