Yellow and Green at Card Crafter's Circle!

I can't believe that we had over 140 entries in last weeks Layers challenge at the Card Crafter's Circle... fabulous!  This week our challenge for you is a colour challenge.... YELLOW AND GREEN!

Our sponsor this week is Milk Coffee Stamps.... and this week I have created with the Elf and Little Bird image...

On a cream/pearl cardbase, I have layers of green tiny dot paper, and green textured card, forming a mat for my image layer. The image has been coloured with SU! markers, and the background filled with a mixture yellow pearly chalks.

I fixed a strip of lace/ribbon around the image and green mat, with a simple knotted piece, and then stitched yellow/gold silver fill seed beads along the eyelets. After fixing these layers to the rest, I added some largergolden yellow rhinestones to the corners, and one also to the pom on the end of his elfin hat!

I hope that you visit us at our Card Crafter's Circle to see our image showcase... and that we can inspire you to join in our challenge! Thanks for peepin'!

(and please forgive me for being late with my post/creation... more family dramas.... I'm sure I will sound a fanfare when my creations are finally posted on time!)
