#9 Thanksgiving in Harvest Colours

This week at Twist of Faith Cards , we've a dual theme.... Harvest/Thanks Giving.... you can pick one, or combine them... whatever takes your fancy, as long as you have a twist of faith, of course! Our sponsor this week is Stamp Art Design by Kathryne ... one of my favourites.... and I used Raggedy Girl Swing ...

I've used harvest colours, and a scripture of thanks...since my 'thing' at the moment is to create things relatively unembellished (unless the image calls for it!) Raggedy here is relatively Clean And Simple ... which seems to make my images pop.  I like that!  She is coloured with markers and I've added glitter pen to the flowers and her ribbons.  Although I like the neat white background, I chalked it with cream, orange and edged in brown. I like it that way too... then decided to hand stitch a border. She is fixed to a pearlescet cream cardbase simply with a layer of textured brown card.

The scripture I have used today is one that I love... it reminds me of a song we used to sing at secondary school... being a musical 'being', I played in most masses and services, and was exposed to wonderful music and scriptural lyrics.... which still reside in m head today. This scripture is one of those memories!
