#6 For every Season...

Our challenge for you this week at Twist of Faith Cards is all about the Seasons... and we have a fabulous sponsor,  Pholkart Blessings! 


Your creations are to depict a  SEASON....  and remembering our 'twist of faith', your creation should also include a scripture, quote or an uplifiting sentiment that suits this week's theme. 

Of course I had to share this wonderful scripture in the blog challenge post... I'm sure it's the first to the mind of many, when we thing of a scripture about seasons... (thank you for The Byrds making it so poignant to so many!)

"To everything there is a season, a time for every purpose under heaven." 

                                                                          Ecclesiastes 3:1

My creation here uses the Pholkart Blessings image "Whimsical Tulip"....

I printed the image thrice (I know, it's an old word, but isn't it cool!) and coloured with Spectrum Noir markers.  I have mounted the image layer quite simply on a patterned paper, and white cardbase.  I created a digi using my chosen scripture (I just loved the particular translation!) and matted it with pink card, then added some ribbon play... I tied a knot in the end of the ribbon and then fixed it at the back. Simple!  

To accommodate the sentiment, I have moved the image layer 'north' ... I'm usually one who centres everything!  I finished off with a couple of wine coloured pearls and added some mauve rhinestones to each of the flowers...
