#2 Sweet or Spooky?

Since it is now the season for sweets.... Halloween Sweets.... and spooky ... Halloween Spookies ... at Sparkle And Glitter With Rick... we have combined the two into our theme for this fortnight's challenge ... Sweet or Spooky Halloween!  We have a super sponsor prize from I Brake for Stamps, who carries the rubberised stamps of Rick's Designs, if you're not into digis....

Here is my creation, using the Scarecrow Halloween Style image... I think this is one of the most character-filled and delightful  scarecrows I've seen... I could just hug him! Although I imagine not many people hug scarecrows...

Scarecrow has been coloured with Spectrum Noir pens, and glitter pens. I then chalked the background with pearlescent chalks, in brown, cream and orange... it's quite pale.  I then pricked a border of holes , so that I could handstitch the edges in running stitch.  I have added French Knots at the corners.

I liked the way that the image filled the card, so I have't added a sentiment.

This creation is also shared in the challenges at...
Charisma Cardz #41 Clean and Simple (23/10)
Crafts 4 Eternity #94 Pumpkin Spice (26/10)
Heck Of A Challenge #2 Spooktacular (31/10)
Ladybug Crafts - #2 Halloween (31/10)
Little Miss Muffett #46 Halloween Colours (31/10)

I do hope you'll join in our Sweet or Spooky Halloween Challenge at Sparkle And Glitter With Rick.  You don't have to use an RSD image, but we'd love to see you create with them if you do (and there are so many sweet and extra spooky images to choose from)! Come on over and join the fun!

Thanks for peepin'!
