This week at Card Crafter's Circle, we've gone GINGHAM! We want to see creations with gingham checks .... gingham is such a simple pattern, but one of my favourites (reminds me of all the hours I sat with my Nan with a gingham table cloth and chicken scratched (cross stitch) my way round it all)!
Our sponsor this week is Stamp Art Design by Kathryne ... one of my favourites.... and I used Little Bear Summer Bonnet Fun set .... only problem was, I clearly couldn't decide which of the hats I was going to dress Miss Little Bear in... so I created two cards. One here and one in the next post!
Miss Bear here is wearing layers of gingham, printed separately and paper pieced. You'll notice the eyelet pattern detail on the cheeky petticoat poking at the hemline. Her cloche-like floppy hat is adorned with another paper pieced ribbon, with white button detail. Finally the hearts and pockets are glitter penned.
I printed multiple images on both green and yellow gingham paper to paper piece it all together.... the bear is printed on white card, and waterbrushed with Sienna ProMarker. She is fixed to simple layers of gingham and gold metallic card, pinned with pearls.
I'm entering this creation into these challenges....
