Squares and Circles

Well, I'm getting better, slightly.... this time, instead of leaving my post as a draft, I actually scheduled it!  Yay! But I scheduled it for the wrong time.... Oh.  I should have everything right by next week! Ha ha.

This challenge at My Heart Pieces is themed Squares and Circles.... we want to see squares or circles in your creation.  This week I created with the image Bride Carriage (from My Heart Pieces of course!)...

I have coloured the carriage with a variety of markers, keeping a pink theme ..I thought a pink carriage would be fun (although I've never seen a pink one). For the bride and groom, I used a variety of pens, glitter, metallic, and matte.  I'm sorry to say that I'm still working out my new camera, and I couldn't get the flash angle right...there is reflection on some of the glitter penwork.  

I've kept a relatively simple layout, with pink matts, and a white cardbase, all from handmade paper (it's wonderfully textured and thick).  Following on with the circle theme (using the carriage wheels a my mainstay) I added some sweet pink buttons that have a star pattern on them, and silver rhinestones. I finished off with a sweet crocheted flower.  I wish I could take credit for the gorgeous wee flower, but I can't crochet that well.... it's a purchased one! Oh, and my creation here shows the image flipped (it faces the other direction).
