Keepin it CASE...

This week at the Card Crafter's Circle, our challenge theme is CAS - CLEAN AND SIMPLE.... uncluttered, uncomplimated, simple, and clean.  I love CAS, and I wish I manged to do more of it!  We have two sponsors this week... Robyn's Fetish, and Oak Pond Creations... fabulous designers, who provided the DT with great images to showcase.... I hope you'll happen by to see what we created!

My image here is Primitive Birdhouse, from Robyn's Fetish...

I  ummed and aahed about what I would do for this creation... I wanted to stitch it, but that doesn't fall into CAS (maybe in technique, but not in time useage!).  So I coloured with glitter pens... and a glaze pen for the birdhouse.  Basically it is a white layer, on a white cardbase (which doesn't show too well in the photo).  The image layer is attached with foam tape, so it sits higher with a little more definition and depth.  I didn't want to get a scratchy look with the grass/hill in the image, so I cut it out, and backed the image layer with green paper so it would show through in place of the hill. Nice and smooth without too much fuss... I don't think it could be much more CAS!

I'm entering the card into these challenges:

Crop Stop #82 Colour Inspiration
Daisy Doodles Creative Challenge #63 Here Comes the Sun
Inspired By ... #34 Photo Inspiration

Do visit us at the Card Crafter's Circle ... then join in our challenge! We'd love to see your CAS creations! Thanks for peepin'!
