I can't believe the rain we've had the last few days.... anyone would think it is winter, it has been ice cold!
Quite fitting really, since the image I have used for this week's challenge at FOR FUN CHALLENGES is a sweet bunny sheltering from raindrops!
Our sponsor is KNK Designs ... sadly they have closed their digi doors, but are honouring their sponsorship... the challenge winner will receive the digis that the Design Team has used for the challenge! Sweet!
I wanted a white rabbit... so everything revolved around a white rabbit. I coloured with glitter pens, and used a marker for his inner ear. Bunny didn't stand out on the white background, so I set to chalking some dirt, and blue sky! I used blue glaze pen for the raindrops, so that they appeared watery (at least they do on the card, perhaps not this picture!). I picked a gentle cardbase, and then picked some co-ordinating cardstock from the same pattern family (thank you manufacturers for making my choices easier by creating designer sets!) I double layered the image, and used scraps to create a vertical 'ribbon' then finished it with a double strand of knotted paper twine. I added some pearls to the corners of the image, and they appear much darker in this picture than they actually are.
I am also entering this creation in the challenges at:
Digital Tuesday Challenge - #157 Winter Blues (29/4)
Get Hippity With Ippity - #19 Rain (29/4)
Creative Craft Challenge - Animal Antics (31/4)
Use It Tuesday - #30 April Showers(3/5) (my hoarded item was the paper twine, and I've had the cardstock for ages!)
I hope you'll join us at For Fun Challenges this week... and show us your bunny creations! Thanks for peepin'!
