With a Spring in my Step...

Woohoo! It's Springtime! Well, not at my house, but the summer is certainly cooling down, and the weather is like Spring! But it is heading spring way up North, and that's our theme for the week at Glitter Geeks....

SPRING!

And, our sponsor is the fabulous Bugaboo Stamps..... I just adore Bugaboo images.  Lucky for me they are calorie free!

Ingredients: White Semigloss Cardbase; Bazzil Cardstock; Decorative Paper; Markers - Copic, ProMarker,  Marvy; Stardust Glitter Pens; Chocolate Pearls (2 sizes)...

I combined an image and sentiment (both Bugaboo) and coloured away - white sections in the image are uncoloured, which I think is the freshest way to obtain a flat white ... it seems to pop against the coloured image!    After picking a spring-ish a decorative paper, I thought it would be nice to dress the top right corner, which was 'quite white'.... so I decided to snip the corner off, and layer pieces of the same decorative paper as a 3D belli... I trimmed the pieces, edged them in ink, and adhered the leaves flat to the layers.  To lift the flower, I rolled it with a pen tool to curl the petals.  Pearls were added to the flower centre, and remaining corners.

I am also entering this creation in the challenges at
PollyCraft - #130 Spring Has Sprung (13/3)
My Mum's Craft Shop - #47 Spring (13/3)

Do visit us at the Glitter Geeks blog, check out this week's challenge and the awesome inspirational creations from the Design Team.... these girls ROCK!  Thanks for peepin'!
