Mother's Day in the UK!

Woohoo! It's Mother's Day! Well, in the UK, not at my house. In Australia, we celebrate Mother's Day the Second Sunday in May. So that's our theme for the week at Glitter Geeks....

Ingredients: White Semigloss Cardbase; Bazzil Cardstock; Decorative Glitter embossed Paper; Markers - ProMarker,  Marvy; Stardust Glitter Pens; Ice Stickles; Pink Lace; Hot Pink Pearls; Wine Rhinestones;  Pink Mini Brads...

I thought this image was so reminiscent of my childhood, when I would dress in my grandmother's clothes and finery!  After printing the image I coloured until I couldn't colour anymore.... then trimmed away!  I wanted to make her leap out of the flower paper... I had this 'scrap' sized piece and thought it was perfect for her.  I hope she pops!

I fixed her to the flower layer with foam tape, and gussied it with Ice stickles, and added pearls to her neckline (following the  image).  I added a plain colour matt, and then trimmed with lace. I finished off by adding the topper to a white cardbase.
