How hard was it to choose an image to create with for the Designed2Delight progressive challenge this week! My wish list is even longer now.... I ended up choosing a fun little fellow ... Celebrating Caterpillar....Ingredients: Cardstock - Portacraft; Stardust Glitter Pens, Glaze Pens - Sakura; Black Signo; Chalks - Pebbles Inc.
I can't believe that I have created a card without rhinestones or pearls or any other associated bling! I rarely make flat cards. Today is a flat one, embellishment free, even, but that's what screamed out to me with this image... clean and crisp, and uncluttered. I coloured with glitter pens, accented with glaze pen, and backgrounded with chalks, just for a hint of colour. Faux stitches around the outer finished the card. I should do more large framed images more often, because I love their simplicity!
