Here's a yummy icecream image - from the new releases at Stretch'N'Bubbles... I don't fancy an icecream at the moment, as we are in the middle of a freezing cold winter, but it's summer somewhere, so have a treat on me!
Ingredients: Cardstock - Kaszazz; Papers - Provocraft, magazine freebies; Marker - Promakrer Aqua; Stardust Glitter Pens - Sakura; Mini Brads; Pink Adhesive Pearl; Paper Flower; needle and thread...
I coloured the icecream with Stardust glitter pens and then fussy cut. I created my layers of paper, distressed with a little marker ink, and created a 'feature' of folded paper - the folds are behind the flower. After fixing the folds, I set to stitching the 3 pink lines across the paper .... and the stitching also holds down the folds! I fixed it to the dotty layer, and fixed the minibrads in the corners before attaching to the cardbase. I added the image last... I hope I've conveyed a summery, fun, retro sort of feel.... at least that's what I got from the dots!
