There's Your Trouble! Scrap Challenge

Thanks to all those who applied for our Design Team positions... we've contacted applicants, and await their acceptances! Our announcement will be made on Wednesday at the Scrap It With A Song blog.

Here's our new challenge at Scrap It With A Song... The Dixie Chicks' tune ... There's Your Trouble... click here for the challenge post, lyrics and audio/filmclip all in one place!

I took my inspiration from the peppy upbeat music, and share a layout featuring my cheeky great grand niece.  And how many times do we hear someone jokingly say ... "Here comes trouble"  when a cheeky little tot enters the room!

Ingredients: Cardstock - Core'dinations Vintage; Paper - Sassafrass Lass; Rub-ons - Kaisercraft; Mini Brads - Inque Boutique.

Not a great deal of embellishment with the page, I wanted the focus to be all the wee fussy cut pictures of my gal.  Cheeky Monkey.  I've used the border pattern from DS paper (Sassafrass Lass Bungle Jungle papers) and used strips of striped faux-stitched paper (I think SF, also!) as other elements.  I've added in rub on sentiments to fill the not-so 'white space' without clutter, and also along the diagonal.

As much as it pains my hands to fussy cut photos, I love doing it.... especially to remove cluttered backgrounds and using multiple similar images, such as this one.

I hope you will take some musical inspiration from us this week, and sing along with us in the Scrapping It With A Song challenge! Thanks for peepin'!
