This fortnight at Scrap It With A Song the challenge involves music from the 1990s... every challenge we give you the choice of two songs to inspire you, and I created with the first on the playlist .... Aerosmith’s 90s hit “Livin’ On the Edge”. You can find the lyrics here, or watch the clip...l do you remember this one?
I created a 12x12 layout ...
Ingredients used: Papers - Kaisercraft, Portacraft; Rhinestones - Scrapbook Bitz.
That's right, aside of adhesive, 2 INGREDIENTS! Talk about a CAS page! I taught this simple layout at my scrapbooking group.... that you don't need to use heaps and heaps of ingredients to fill a page! It can be all about the paper choice..I used two sheets of co-ordinating paper (from the same set), using one as the page, and I cut the labels from another sheet (which of course can be used for other pages now).
I matted and placed the photos, added the labels, then adhered the blingy rhinestones strips.... very simple, but with the right paper choice, very effective, and little effort.
We can’t wait to see how these songs inspired you to create! Our Mr Linky accepts your creative links until April 24, 2011 at Noon (PST - USA time). Please join us at Scrap It With A Song!

This is a fab layout Pauline.....as you say, with the right papers and choice of photos the layout doesn't need loads of other stuff cluttering the page to look just perfect, which yours certainly does. Big hugs, from Ali x
