I went to a Garden Party...

...and it's... all right now... I learned my lesson well... it seems you can't please everyone, so you've got to please yourself....

I'm a sucker for older music.... and I love Ricky Nelson's "Garden Party"...... which just happens to be the name of the image we got to play with in the latest challenge for Designed 2 Delight Digital Stamps... what a wonderful spring image .....gorgeous to play with, since we're autumnal heading for winter Down Under!

Ingredients used: Cardstock - Terra Nova, Grace Taylor; Paper - Creative Memories; Stardust Pens, Glaze Pen - Sakura; Marker -  Marvy Le Plume; Printed Organza Ribbon - The Floral Connection.

I coloured the image with glitter... Sakura Stardust Pens (just love 'em!), used Marvy Le Plume markers for the wee mousies, and Glaze pen for the flower pot (it looks really glazed!).  The image is mounted on orange paper, yellow card, then on a cardbase from Grace Taylor - already printed and gloss embossed with butterflies... just lovely! But before I fixed it all together, I added a faux bow (tee hee hee... faux bow... sounds silly!) with the ribbon - I  cut a length, tied the ends then snipped it, so there's no actual loopy bow!

Thanks for peepin'!
