Livin' on a Nice Day

I can't believe I was so remiss this week! I forgot to post my  DT post for Scrap It With A Song!  It was happily sitting there in the box in draft mode... and  I never hit the publish button... what a dill am I!

This week, Challenge 45 is titled Livin' on a Nice Day, because we offer you two Bon Jovi songs to inspire you!  Livin' On A Prayer (really, way back in 1987!), and Have a Nice Day (2005).  My creation for you, is from Livin' on a Prayer (good thing, because I didn't know the other, how old am I!)

Ingredients used: Cardstock/Paper - Three Bugs In A Rub, Cre8tiv; Markers - Marvy Brush Markers; Brads - Kaisercraft; Lace, Satin Applique Butterfly, Scripture Sticker.

I matted the photo with black and lime green, and fixed brads at the top, then fixed it to page.  I cut a broad strip of lime green and fixed a strip of  lace to it with brads at even points, then adhered it to the page.  I took a gigantic satin appique butterfly, coloured it with brush markers to make it pop, and fixed it to the page.

Lastly, on a scrap of cardstock, I mounted a scripture sticker, which reads

\"And he took the children in his arms, put his hands on them and blessed them" John 10:16 NIV

Pop on over to the Scrap It With A Song blog to see the DT's inspiration creations, and catch the links to the video clips, and lyrics of the songs... and I hope you will join in our challenge!
