Appliqued Tree

I just can't wait for the challenges at Designed 2 Delight....  every week, I wait for the challenge to close to see what the next freebie arrivving in my emailbox will be.... just like a kid in a lolly shop.....The lastest challenge image from Designed2Delight Digital Stamps was another delight .... a sweet appliqued with faux stitching .... just screaming out for stitches!

Ingredients: Cardstock - Grant, Cre8tiv; Chalk - Pebbles Inc; Marker - Marvy Le Plume; Stardust Pens - Sakura; Aquash Pen; Flower Rhinestones - Kaisercraft; Embroidery Floss - DMC.

I printed the image, and coloured the sky and grass with chalks. I coloured the gord and tree greens with Stardust pensand an Aquash pen, and used a marker for the tree trunk. I edged all edges in a Country Green Le Plume Marker, and fixed all the layers together before addint it to the cardbase. I added pea green rhinestone flowers to the corners, and larger ones to the treee (birdie needed to look at something!).

I think this will be a lovely gift card - great to accompany a gift I need to give this evening! Thanks for peepin'!
